Denison Libraries is upgrading to a new library system this summer. On June 27, 2025, we’re launching Primo, a faster, simpler way to search, borrow, and explore library resources. This new platform replaces the older systems you may have used before: Summon, the CONSORT catalog, OhioLINK catalog interface, and separate search tools for digital collections.
With Primo, everything is in one place.
What’s Changing and Why
We're moving from multiple disconnected platforms to a unified search system that brings together books, articles, media, and digital resources, both at Denison and across OhioLINK, into a single, user-friendly experience.
Behind the scenes, we’re also moving to Alma, a next-generation system that helps us manage resources more efficiently and continue providing excellent service.
These changes are part of a wider effort across the OhioLINK and Five Colleges of Ohio (Ohio5) library communities to streamline services and better support teaching, learning, and research. For more details on what’s changing and how it may affect you, check out our Primo FAQ for answers to common questions.
