Randa Jarrar, who grew up in Kuwait and Egypt, is an award-winning author and translator. Her novel, A Map of Home, is a 1970s coming of age story about a girl from Boston who moves with her family to Kuwait.
Rebecca Hains is a professor in Advertising and Media Studies at Salem State University. Her research focuses on girls and media and she is the author of The Princess Problem.
