RILM stands for Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale. It is a bibliography of international music literature with almost 1 million items. The database includes books, book chapters, book reviews, articles, dissertations, and much more. 

Once you understand how to use RILM, you will be able to find many of the resources you need for your music history assignments.
