Scalar: An Introduction

To start a Scalar book, you need a login to either the .net site or a local Scalar instance.

• To start at the Scalar website, go there.
• Click on the blue Sign In button in the banner at the top of the page.
• On the subsequent screen, click on Register an account and enter the details. To get the registration key, fill out a short form by clicking on the form link.
• After your register, you will be taken to the Index page. This page contains a list of all of the published books in Scalar. When you have created a book, it will show up on the left hand side of the screen.
• If you are in a class where a Scalar site has been created at denisonclasses.org, please follow the instructions provided by your professor or librarian.

A great way to get started is to view some online tutorials or help sites for Scalar projects. Here are some suggestions:
