Denison Museum Fall 2023 Exhibitions 

Change/ Resilience 

August 28th - December 1st

Denison University’s Sustainability Office, the Denison Museum, and faculty across disciplines have been working together over the past year to create a series of events and programs around the theme of change (climate, political, economic, urban, etc.) and resilience.

 

Art in a Time of War & Dear Ukraine:
A Global Community Poem

August 28th - December 1st

 

"Art in a Time of War”  by Olga Morozova and her students showcases work created since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.“Dear Ukraine” is a global community poem that provides a space for individuals around the world to speak to the unfolding atrocities of the war against Ukraine and its people.

 

 

Denison Museum Spring 2024 Exhibitions 

Mining the Inca Trail

January 15th - April 1st

An exhibition featuring the sculptural work of Professor Micaela Vivero. In addition to Vivero’s installation, the Museum will explore ancient South American objects to expand the conversation around the history of mining, the use of gold and silver, and colonialism.

 

Studio Art Senior Exhibition

April 19th - May 10th

Denison University celebrates the annual senior studio art majors exhibition at the Museum.
