how to use this subject guide...

The library is a resource in your studies - creative, scientific, interdisciplinary and otherwise.  Use the library and the resources here as a jumping off point for your research.  And be sure to ask questions along the way.

the basics

How is the library organized?  What is the Library of Congress? Who can help me if I can't find what I need?  The answers to these questions (and many more) are right here...

find

The first order of business is finding information and inspiration.  Finding information happens both in the library and online - don't limit yourself to one or the other.

organize

Organization is key so you can keep track of all the great stuff you find.

use

Creativity and research can work together concurrently.  As you find resources (and organize them in a way so you can find them again), use what you have to refine and enhance your work - it's a push and pull.
