Using this Guide

Select a style from the tabs above for samples and in depth information on how to cite specific sources. If you prefer to use a reference management tool, choose from the list below.

Citation Management Programs

  • Flow
This is the latest citation management tool (including a bibliography generator) from ProQuest, which brought us RefWorks. Flow allows you to manage and organize your citations, like RefWorks, while also making it easier to read, annotate, and collaborate on documents. (See this YouTube Video for a general introduction to Flow.)

To create a Flow account, you'll just need to provide your e-mail address and create a password. Once you've created an account, you can then go to Flow to get started.

Please contact Roger Kosson with any questions about Flow.
  • RefWorks
For information on how to use RefWorks, see the Online Tutorial.
For information on how to use Write-N-Cite, see the Online Tutorial.
Please contact Roger Kosson with questions about RefWorks.

  • Zotero
A free online citation management option.
  • Mendeley
Free reference manager and academic social network that can help you organize your research, collaborate with others online, and discover the latest research.
