Journalism

Journalism focuses on writing for a broad audience across many different media platforms.

A note on research ...

It helps to keep in mind the fact that journalism relies on the first-person experience of others - essentially primary sources.

These types of stories can often be found in:

  • Memoirs
  • Biographies and Autobiographies
  • Diaries, Letters, and Personal Reflections
  • News stories that include personal experiences

As we begin our research, it helps to keep these different types of storytelling in mind.
